The main thing I love about these videos is how they validate the hard parts of changing jobs. We don’t have a place in society to discuss how hard it is to build a meaningful career and definitely don’t have a place to talk through the strange and harmful hiring practices that people must endure.
A week doesn’t go by without someone telling me a new hiring horror story. It’s awful out there. Don’t worry, I’m teaching workshops to hiring managers now too. We need to improve both sides of the hiring table.
