Here in Seattle, I planted bulbs for the first time last fall, and I can’t believe that underneath months of snow and ice, the flowers were growing. Then they burst forth in the most amazing colors and shapes as soon as the sun barely started to warm the soil.

I believe that leadership skills are a lifelong learning process, so just like the bulbs, we need to be working on growth even when we’re in frosty work environments.
